BioHello world, this is me!
My lecturer at Uni made LiveJournal a compulsory part of our unit, which i think is a really good idea. Someone very intelligent once said to me "how can you know what you think, till you can see what you say." It was this person and this statement that lead me to believe that this live journal thing would be a good place to express my thoughts and opinions.
So here are the general facts about me:
-I am 19 years of age and have recently begun university for the second time around. The first time was last year where i begun a Bachelor of Speech Pathology at Sydney University. English and Liturature being a passion of mine i thought that helping people with speech would be a great avenue for me. I found out this was not the case as it entailed a lot of science which is not my forte. So this year i begin a Bachelor of Teaching/Bachelor of Arts at the Australian Catholic University. I am very much looking forward to this new chapter of my life and persuing my liturary passion.
-I have a Boyfriend Tom who i have now been with for over a year. It is in him that i find solace and reasoning when there is none to be found elsewhere. He is my rock.
-My family consists of My mother Gayle, Father Alec and my Brother Ryan. We are a very close family. As i grow older i have come to find friendship with them rather than mother-daughter, father-daughter, brother-sister relationship.
-I have many friends from all different walks of life who i enjoy spending the majority of my time with.
-Dancing has been a major passion for me for many years now. since the age of 5 i have studied various styles of dance including Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Modern, Contemporary, Rock and roll, Hip hop, lyrical theatre(broadway) and funk.I studied dance for my HSC in 2005 but this put a lot of pressure on my body and was forced to take a break for 2006 due to a back injury. I am really hoping to take up dance again in 2007-i miss it dearly.
